• People are examined on secondary and tertiary levels.
• World Sight Day Celebration – Series of screening were done with the following team: Sight Savers staffs, Standard Chartered Bank and WAECP staffs (Irish Aid Office, Orange Ltd, Africell, Standard Bank and Mercury Offices were screened).
• Radio and Television programs were held on WSD by the teams.
• Patient Care Support Fund was provided by NEHP meant for World Sight Day Celebration, but was transfer to WAECP to conduct free surgeries.
• Jingles developed for Eye Health
• Screening is done.
• CHW training was conducted.

Three PHU training program was conducted (2 in the urban and 1 in the rural area).
