Neurology
Achievement
- The Neurology clinic has been in operation at Connaught hospital since 2019 to date. It operates on a weekly basis at the Specialist Out-Patients (SOP).
- The clinic sees patients referred from doctors within and outside Connaught Hospital and increasingly from the Accident and Emergency Department. The clinic is poorly resource with only one adult Neurologist and recently a Pediatric Neurologist.
- In addition to the Out Patients Clinic, the service also operates two EEG clinics a week, on Tuesdays and Fridays. Due to lack of space for a proper EEG clinic, we make do with the waiting room of the Consultant Neurology office which is grossly inadequate.
