Dialysis Unit
The Dialysis Unit is headed by Dr. Joshua Coker, a Consultant Physician and Nephrologist and team comprises of two Nephrologists, Biomedical Engineer, Dialysis Nurse Consultant, seven (7) nurses and two Biomedical Technicians.
Successes
- Presently, the hospital can boast of Five (5) hemodialysis machines and a standard water station.
- The total number of Five hundred and ninety four (594) procedures was carried out at the Dialysis Unit from 1st January to 31st December, 2023.
- Over 95 sessions of hemodialysis were dialyzed.
- Operational and Effectiveness on patient care.
- On-going departmental meetings.
- Staff Training.
- Annual Awareness raising activities/campaigns to the public.
