Supply of Reagents, Screening Kits and Consumables
The Connaught Hospital Blood Bank is receiving all it supplies from the National Safe Blood Services Programme. However, when there is total stock out of supplies, the Hospital Management usually help to salvage the situation.
Achievement
- A total of 4,892 blood donors were screened for transfusion, transmissible infections.
- There are 5 moble blood drives were conducted in 5 communities with support from Concern World Wide and IASPO an Non- Governmental Organization at PCMH.
- 4,289 blood donors were bled mainly from family replacement blood donors.
- 77 voluntary blood donors were screened and bled.
- A total number of 4, 046 units of blood were screened, crosshatched and issued to patients.
